Delete your data
WhenCanIEat has no account and no server, so there's no remote copy of your data to request a deletion for. Here's exactly what exists and how to remove it.
Short answer: everything WhenCanIEat knows about your fasting schedule and history lives only on your device. Deleting the app deletes it. There is nothing left on any server, because we don't run one that stores app data.
What data exists
The App stores, locally on your device only:
- Your chosen fasting schedule or preset (16:8, 18:6, 20:4, OMAD, or custom)
- The start and end times of your current and past fasts
- Your streak count
- Whether you're subscribed (checked against your App Store or Google Play account, not stored by us)
None of this is tied to a name, email, or account, because none of those exist in the App.
Option 1: clear history inside the app
Open WhenCanIEat, go to the History screen, and choose to delete individual entries or clear all history. This removes the stored entries from your device immediately while keeping the app itself installed with your schedule preferences intact.
Option 2: delete the app
Deleting WhenCanIEat from your device removes all of its local data, including your schedule, current fast, streak, and full history. This is a complete and permanent deletion, since that local storage is the only place this data ever existed.
- iPhone or iPad: touch and hold the WhenCanIEat icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App.
- Android: touch and hold the WhenCanIEat icon, tap Uninstall (or drag to Uninstall), and confirm.
What happens to your subscription
Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription, since that is billed and managed by Apple or Google, separately from the app itself. To stop billing, cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings as described on our Support page.
Still have questions
Email support@whencanieat.com and we'll help directly. Since we don't hold any of your data ourselves, there's no backend record for us to search, so we can only advise on the in-app and in-device steps above.
